Macy, Regan, and Andi

One of the best parts about being a photographer is getting to photograph children! Macy, Regan, and Andi are great examples of that! We didn't need to leave their home because their yard and house offered so much! The great thing about our "house-call" style photography is that children can have their pictures taken where they are most comfortable. These sisters were very comfortable with the camera. My heart melted when I saw how much they love each other. What cuties!

 

Courtney - Senior Pics!

Courtney, a Lancaster senior, came to this session with a lot of great ideas of her own. We never say "no" to a new idea and love when clients want to try something new.  Courtney's eyes are such a clear beautiful color, that I could see my reflection in them in many of the pictures. This session was a bit of a battle - Photographers vs Extreme Wind and Sun. Even though it was a challenge, I'd say that the wind and sun lost this fight. When the weather doesn't go your way, you work with it!

Cousins - Lincoln & Aliyah

I know I've said this a lot lately, but... I love fall pictures! This session happened to land on another beautiful fall day. Lincoln and Aliyah are cousins, so we got a few shots of them together.  Lincoln, who will soon become a big brother, was full energy only toddlers can have! 

Aliyah had a great smile and such pretty eyes.

Olson Family

It was a beautiful, yet chilly, fall day for the Olson family's pictures. The three girls were troopers, despite the cold. They smiled all the while and had a positive attitude through the whole session. Maddy, the oldest, is actually one of my students! Then, it's Mariah, who was constantly smiling. The youngest is Mylie and she is Jack's preschool classmate. It was fun getting to know the girls outside of the school setting. Their cousins, grandma and grandpa got in a few pictures, too!

The Vigs - Jake, Jocelyn, & Nick

It's been about a year since our last session with the Vig family. It was later in the fall and much colder than it was during this year's session. I can't believe how much the kids have grown! Jake is going to school full-time, Jocelyn gets cuter every day, and was full of smiles, and Nick enjoyed playing in the leaves and not just eating them like he did last year! 

Breanne & Derek

This late September engagement session was located in Hallock. Breanne and Derek met us and we hit the town, snapping pictures here and there! We started at the park - locals will recognize some playground equipment that's been a part of the park for decades! The weather was nice and the bit of wind that worried us a little, ended up not being an issue at all. 

We look forward to taking pictures at the New Year's Eve wedding! 

 

Baby Emma - 9 Months!

While this was technically our second time taking pictures of Emma, this was her first "private" shoot with us. This past summer we had a session with Emma's entire family on the Kuznia side. With the grandparents, adults, and the many grand children, little Emma was only able to get in a few pictures. This time it was all about her! 

Her BIG baby blues, chubby cheeks, and cute grin made her a pleasure to snap pictures of.
