Nan and Derik - Engagement Session

It's sessions like this one that Nate and I forget that we are on the job. It was a beautiful summer evening, at a great farmyard, and with good company... oh, and lots of picture-taking. I don't think I've laughed this much during a photo session before! Nan and Derik's session is proof that photography sessions 

not only can be fun, but should be fun! 

If their engagement session was this much fun, then we can't wait for their September wedding!

 

Travis and Holly Tie the Knot!

Weddings are always so much fun, and Travis and Holly's was no exception! They really put together a beautiful wedding, down to every last detail. Even though mid-90's temperatures and a lack of cloud coverage can be a challenge in getting pictures where the people you are taking pictures of are comfortable, or at least look comfortable, this wedding party pulled it off no problem. After the beautiful outdoor dinner, the wedding party + friends hit the country on a Bison charter bus and hit up a local bar that any small-town resident would appreciate.

Mike and Shayla Get Married!

Late starts, extremely hot temps, and other last minute wedding day kinks didn't stop Shayla and Mike from having a beautiful day! A stunning church, nice downtown locations, and a fun wedding party came together to give us many great pictures. Here are just a few of those!

Kiara & Thomas... and Mom and Dad, Too!

This was our second session with Kiara and Thomas. 

One of the things we enjoy about repeat clients is getting to see their children grow. 

Kiara has gotten a little taller and Thomas is now walking - well, running. 

In fact, Thomas kept Nate on the run, while Kiara kept me busy with her awesome modeling! 

Another first for us - Their dad brought out his company train to use for pictures. Yes, he literally drove the train engine out of its garage just for our session. Awesome!

Engagement Session with Sarah and Blair

Third time was certainly the charm for Sarah and Blair's engagement session, because the first two appointments had to be rescheduled due to farming. It turned out really well because the night we were finally able to get together was beautiful! Sarah's dad even pulled out his Mustang for a few pictures. Look for Sarah and Blair's wedding pictures in September!
