Raimey - 4 months

Ah, the beauty of babies! Little Raimey, prepared with multiple cute outfits, needed a little food and TLC before we could really get going with her photo session. After that, she was content and ready to go... well, at least for a little while before the sleepiness set in! We welcomed the sleepiness, because babies are so sweet when they're asleep. Before she dozed off, her friend Wyatt came to join in some buddy pictures. You may remember him from our last session
Here are some of our favorites!

Wyatt Turns 1!

The first time I met this blue-eyed boy was Christmas Eve 2009 when he was just a newborn. Now, a year later and a year older, Wyatt is still a cutie and full of charm! I couldn't stop giggling during the grand finale of our photo session, as Wyatt dug into his extra large cupcake!

Annika (2) & Case (6 months)

Just a week before Christmas, siblings Annika and Case were ready for some pictures at their home. Annika was a little shy at first, but within no time, she became my buddy, eager to play and show me everything and anything! Case showed us his new move, which is rolling around the house.
Our session ended after some fun in the snow!

Chloe and Kennadie

There were no outside pictures for these little sweeties this session. The wind chill advisory took care of that! 2 year old Chloe and the newly 1 year old Kennadie kept warm inside their home while we snapped away! We even brought our "portable studio" just to get a few more options. Like usual, we had fun playing with the kids - we like to say that play is just part of the job, as it gets the kids to warm up to us, however, we actually enjoy it very much!

The Deubner Family

Last Sunday, we meet the Deubner family at their home. It was clear which college sports team they cheered for, and as a UND alumni, it was great seeing the school colors! It was a MUST to get some pictures with their  Fighting Sioux sweatshirts, and to also get some family pictures with their dog Tucker. This was day two of our cold weekend of photo sessions, but the family braved the elements for some outdoor shots!

Amie & Jim

Brrrr! This was our coldest session to date! We met Amie and Jim in Grafton for some Christmas couple shots on a day which the weather was well below zero with the windchill. Despite the weather, and perhaps because of the weather as well, we got a lot of great shots. It was a "rapid-fire" session: pose-click-warm up in the car, pose-click-warm up in the car, and so on! We found some warmth inside the church, and besides the warmth, it offered great lighting for some head-shots. Thank you Amie and Jim!
