Seth & Katie - Engagement Session # Two!

Seth and Katie drove up from the Cities area to meet Nate for the "rest" of their engagement session. Their first, unplanned session took place during a small family gathering in Brainerd. It won't be long, and you will soon see a wedding blog because their wedding is during the first week of August. We can't wait to celebrate that big day with them, too!

Mr. and Mrs. Grundstrom!

We first met up with these two for their engagement session on an unusually nice October day last year. Now, eight months later, the weather was also beautiful on the day of their wedding. It was a hot, sunny day. While a sunny, cloudless day is beautiful, it just means that shaded areas are a photographer's best friend! Their church was just walking distance from University Park, making it an excellent location to sneak in some fun pictures.

Baby "B" - Coming August 2011!

Erin, my friend of 23 years, is expecting her first baby in August! She has been like an auntie to my Jack and Ava, and I couldn't be more excited that she will soon get to experience the joy of motherhood! We celebrated the upcoming arrival of her baby boy with a baby shower and a mini-maternity session. Here are a few of those moments caught on camera. In my opinion, Baby "B" is one lucky little boy to have such a great mommy!

Baron - Day at the Beach!

Baron is just over 6 months old now. We have followed this little guy with our camera since he was just a newborn, and have enjoyed watching him grow in size and personality! Warm weather, cloud covered skies, a quiet beach, and an amazingly happy little cutie made this session an absolute joy!

Raegan Denae - 1 week old!

Raegan Denae's session was an exception to our usual sleepy newborn sessions. She was wide-eyed and alert for much of our time with her. She didn't want to miss a thing! These are just a few of our favorites because some of our very favorite shots are of Raegan in her flower girl dress. Her public debut in the dress is scheduled at her Uncle Travis and Aunt Holly's wedding in July. Stay tuned in for pictures of that day as well!

Heaton is ONE!

This little man has a lot to celebrate - he has just turned ONE and is going to be a Big Brother in a few months. However, he wasn't in the celebrating mood at the beginning of our session. It's not always easy to be a tired teething one-year old, but with some patience, scenery changes, and playing, he shared some of his smiles with the camera. You'll also notice that he's great at showing how big he is by holding his arms high into the air!

When Nick and Tina first met with us last summer for their engagement session, their wedding seemed so far away. Now, here they are - married! Their wedding party was, hands-down, the largest we have had so far. With 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, 1 junior bridesmaid, 1 junior groomsmen, 3 flower girls, and 2 ring bearers, it was quite the group! However, they say "the more, the merrier" and that certainly was the case. Nick and Tina were not short of friends and family to help celebrate this awesome occasion. Congratulations!
