Travis & Chelsea are Married!

Chelsea and Travis just tied the knot this past weekend at Florian church. It wasn't just the beautiful venue and lovely weather that made this wedding great, the fact that Chelsea and Travis had such an easy-going, fun attitude and surrounded themselves with great friends and family made it an extra fun wedding. They were such troopers as we took tons of pictures. We even stole them before the dance for a little while just to get in a few more. 

It was worth it though, because we got some of our favorite shots during that time!

The Howland Family... and Then Some!

This family session took place at a family gathering located on some nice country land right off of the Red River. While brothers Cooper and Tucker were having a blast with their family, the heat, bugs, and no naps were starting to take their toll. We had to get creative for pictures to catch their attention and steal a few smiles and I soon discovered that animal noises worked for these two handsome boys! After we thoroughly wore about the boys, next came pictures of other family members at the camp. Some of my favorites were of the three beautiful sisters. They were a goofy bunch for sure! You will notice a picture in which the three are surrounding their mom making a heart shape with their hands. This came about when I said something about surrounding their mom with love and then that was their response! Despite the nasty mosquitos and sticky heat, I really enjoyed my time with this great family!

Nicole and Mark [w e d d i n g]

We first met Nicole last year when she was a bridesmaid at a wedding we photographed. Now, it was her turn to be the bride and we were very excited to photograph her big day! Like all weddings, we started the day off capturing moments while the gals got dolled up. The magic of the wedding day doesn't just happen when the couple says "I do" and we like being there to catch as many memories as we can. Nicole was already beautiful before she started getting ready, so it was no surprise that she was especially stunning in her wedding gown. We went to a park nearby for to get pictures with Mark, Nicole, and their wedding party. Next came their ceremony at a beautiful church, followed by a fun celebration of food and dancing! Congratulations, Nicole and Mark!

Dana & Jordan ::Engagements::

Like our previous couple, Dana and Jordan will be getting married this October. It will be interesting to see what type of weather we'll have this October. Minnesota Octobers can be full of snow or, like last year, near summer conditions. The summer evening of their engagement session was gorgeous. We meet about an hour and a half before the sun set, so the heat had settled down and we got some beautiful lighting! With Dana having grown up in the country and Jordan being a farmer, it only made sense that we took their pictures in the country. Their dog, Ron, even got in on a few pictures with this cute couple!
